ABOUT US

   The Nevada State Elks Association, Inc. is comprised of approximately 6,630 dedicated Elks and their families belonging to 16 Lodges within the two Districts that make up our great State.

   Our State Association was incorporated in 1925 under the Nevada Not-For-Profit Corporation Act to inculcate the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity, to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to provide for its government.

   With further purpose to unite the Lodges of the State of Nevada of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America and the members thereof in closer bonds of good fellowship and fraternity, to protect and promote the interests of the Order within the State of Nevada; and to regulate its internal affairs consistent with the Constitution and Status of the Order under the supervision of the Grand Lodge of the Order; and to further the welfare and common good of the Lodges of the Order in the State of Nevada.

   The Association is governed by an elected President, President-Elect, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, five Trustees and five appointed Officers, along with the Advisory Council consisting of the Past State Presidents. The day-to-day duties and responsibilities are handled by forty plus appointed State Committees and Committee Chairs.

   We are proud to be honored with six Five-Star (2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13, 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17) and one Four-Star (2013-14) ratings by Grand Lodge for this site.
